Today I am featuring the home of Melaine from the blog My Sweet Savannah. Here's what Melaine said she loves most about her home.
"What I love most about my home is that my husband and I have really done
99% of the work in it, so it's really rewarding to sit back, looking at
the finished (well, it will never be finished) results and have that
sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. I also love it when our kids
tell us that they NEVER want to move. It feels good having a happy
comforting place to raise our kids!"
Enjoy!
Read about this hot chocolate station here.
See how she did the chalkboard lettering here.

I've also created a little mood board for you with all the elements you need to re-create Melaine's style in your own home!

Wow- what's not to love? The exterior of her home is beautiful and I love the way she presented the food display in the boat! Beautiful! I also think I need to add a chalkboard wall, now! So much inspiration. Have a great weekend, Kirsten.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? This is her house? I am so unbelievably jealous, it looks like something from a catalogue, or from my dreams! And I would never ever leave my house if it looked like this. Ever.

ReplyDeleteThis home is beautiful! My husband and I plan to build a home in the next five years, so we've been gathering little design ideas here and there...we're very rustic/elegant. We love restored wood and rich textures, simple colors and sentimental accessories. We also have a yellow lab. :-) Absolutely beautiful. Have a great weekend!
