Feature Friday: My Sweet Savannah

Today I am featuring the home of Melaine from the blog My Sweet Savannah. Here's what Melaine said she loves most about her home.

"What I love most about my home is that my husband and I have really done 99% of the work in it, so it's really rewarding to sit back, looking at the finished (well, it will never be finished) results and have that sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. I also love it when our kids tell us that they NEVER want to move. It feels good having a happy comforting place to raise our kids!"

 Enjoy!

Thanks so much to Melaine for sharing her beautiful home with us! Make sure you check out her blog here. I've also created a little mood board for you with all the elements you need to re-create Melaine's style in your own home!

  1. Wow- what's not to love? The exterior of her home is beautiful and I love the way she presented the food display in the boat! Beautiful! I also think I need to add a chalkboard wall, now! So much inspiration. Have a great weekend, Kirsten.

  2. Seriously? This is her house? I am so unbelievably jealous, it looks like something from a catalogue, or from my dreams! And I would never ever leave my house if it looked like this. Ever.

  7. This home is beautiful! My husband and I plan to build a home in the next five years, so we've been gathering little design ideas here and there...we're very rustic/elegant. We love restored wood and rich textures, simple colors and sentimental accessories. We also have a yellow lab. :-) Absolutely beautiful. Have a great weekend!
