Our basement budget is pretty tight. We have everything budgeted to the penny and we've trying not to go over our allotment. We gave ourselves $250 for our basement vanity and it's been a little tough to find anything that doesn't look awful. Through all our searching I've found some options that I like.
We decided to go with this option.
I like the clean lines and the linen color. I haven't seen it in person yet so hopefully it looks okay in person.
Do you have any great resources for well priced vanities that I haven't found yet?

The only other option is to keep patrolling CL because I am sometimes shocked at the perfectly nice vanities people are ripping out of brand new homes! Of course, I am also sometimes shocked that people will try to sell total crap too!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have that vanity, but it came with a different sink. Definitely like that sink better. It's very basic but works just fine! Let me know if you have any questions about it, happy to help!
ReplyDeleteHave you looked at Signature Hardware? I found them to be reasonable with a wide selection.
ReplyDeleteThat was my favorite one too! We are looking to replace our master bath vanity and need to stick to a strict budget so I will keep these in mind :)
ReplyDeleteYou picked the one I would have picked too! I like the last one, but it's probably more practical to have cabinet doors. My step-mom has been shopping for vanities and they are so expensive!! I'd show her these, but it's for her bathroom and she needs lots of counter space :) haha
ReplyDeleteoooooh, great ideas! need to find something stylish but inexpensive for my master bath redo... i love the gray one you picked, too!
ReplyDeleteWe are really loving our cabinet from cabinets to go. They are a national chain of "assemble yourselves" kitchen cabinets, but they also carry pre-assembled bath vanities. The prices are just killer. I believe Utah has a showroom now. Check them out for future projects...
ReplyDeleteI went through a similar thing a few months ago when updating our very tiny main bathroom. There's not a ton out there for the small space and small budget that's too sturdy. The option you chose looks great. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteI think number 4 would have suited perfectly, but I also like the linen soft color you picked out. Well, can't wait to see finished photos! Keep it up!!

Such great options, love the one you chose! Thanks for sharing, its always great to see it can be done affordable, yet awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like the vanity you chose. Such clean lines. It reminds me of the vanity ikea used to offer that was a wood tone and I loved it. Are you going to paint it?
ReplyDeleteI like the vanity you selected. It is always difficult finding a good source for affordable items like a bathroom vanity.

Love the color! Bathrooms are such huge $$ suckers - I think you did a great job of finding this!
ReplyDeleteWe just renovated our guest bathroom and we went with a HD 3 piece set (vanity, sink & mirror) for around $240. The sink is off center which was a pain to hook up but I actually really like the look. I will admit the vanity isn't the best quality but it looks great. We've received several compliments on it.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice. Hope you like the quality.
ReplyDeleteHave you considered redoing a flea market or CL chest to have installed as a vanity? You can even use the top and cover it with a piece of glass, especially for an extra bath, not necessarily the main bath. This one looks nice, but laminated doors aren't the best for the long haul. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteDid you check out http://www.qualitybath.com/results~showall~1~Pricerange~2~.htm. There are a lot of really beautiful vanities at fab prices (I don't know about under $250 though). They are also high quality.
ReplyDeleteGreat picks. I got my vanity base at Lowe's and love it; it actually looks pretty nice and custom with the granite top and integral sink on top that I picked up at Home Depot. Can't wait to see your transformation!
ReplyDeleteI love #3! Great find...I'm always looking for inexpensive vanities for my investment properties. Thanks for sharing! There are great ones at Home Decorators but they aren't as inexpensive as you found.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I really like the one you picked out.
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for ways to achieve a low cost bath remodel, try the designer, stock vanities like those mentioned here. These vanities can be bought at a great price and have a high-end, custom look without the custom price. But what if you can't find the exact size you need?
ReplyDeleteWe just produced a video and published an article about how to go about incorporating standard stock vanity sizes into your bath. Check it out if you get a chance. http://blog.armchairbuilder.com/3930/low-cost-bath-remodel/
