J is for Jett Birthday Party

Last week we celebrated Jett's 1st birthday party. I can't believe a whole year has gone by. I wanted to make his birthday really special.

The theme of Jett's party was "J is for Jett". The colors were blue and orange and I tried to have lots of "J" things. 

These blue and orange polka dot balloons were probably my favorite thing at the party! I got these plus some cute candy bags from the etsy shop, The Party Fairy.

I also hung blue and orange paper lanterns from the pavilion. I got them from Just Artifacts.

The cake was another one of my favorite things. I didn't want to stress about making it so I decided to get it made by Zoobie Cakes in Utah County. Megan did an amazing job. It looked so cute and tasted incredible.

My friend Erin made the cupcakes and I got the cupcake toppers from Blissful Nest Studio.

I made the water bottle labels and I got the cute personalized plate from Dani Notes Stationary.

I made these little birthday hats for all the kids to wear.

Candy included jaw-breakers, jolly-ranchers and jellybeans.

And of course we had to have Jello!

It was so fun to give Jett his little cake with 1 candle.

He loved it and we served it on his special J plate.

The party favors were jump ropes and the tags are from Blissful Nest Studio.

I can't believe my baby is already a year old!

Is anyone else sad that summer is winding down? I made up this little mood board for Crazi Beautiful to celebrate summer. It will be missed.

I am going to be making a few changes to my blog roll. I started it like a year ago and have never made any updates to it. I would love to work out a trade with any other design bloggers out there. Feature Friday: Jones Design Company

I love when I find a home where room after room is stunning and jaw-dropping. That's how I feel about Emily's home from Jones Design Company. She has such a great eye for design and detail. She describes her style as a crazy mix of sparkly & crusty, natural & shiny, country & modern. A boy who wants to live in an industrial warehouse and a girl who loves a charming cottage merging our styles to give a builder grade home some personality.

This room is so pretty! This is where Emily does all her design work for her shop. 

One wall is beautifully stenciled and the other wall is a chalkboard!

Office Lighting

Here is the basic mood board for the office. This room is tiny, tiny with a tall vaulted ceiling. The next thing on the list is a hanging light fixture of some sort. I feel like my curtains have kind of a chinoiserie vibe. I've seen this one on a few blogs and I really liked it.

This office is a big mix of traditional and contemporary so I thought it would be fun to have a really pretty mini- chandelier to hang.

Alice Lane in Store + Giveaway!

I had a chance to stop in to see my friends at Alice Lane a couple of days ago. I always love seeing my favorite products and people. I must say the store was looking amazing. I snapped a few pictures of my favorite items for you...
