So remember my lighting dilemma? Well I ended up choosing the chandelier and I LOVE it! I got it from CSN Stores. It came quickly and was really easy to install. (thanks hubby). Now you can see the progress I have made thus far on the office.
I'm still working on some refining details for the space but I just LOVE where it's at right now. I'll show you more details when I feel like I am finished.
All these photos were taken by Kara Shurtliff. She is a photography major at BYU and she is amazing. To see more photos of my home go to her blog!

ReplyDeleteGreat choice...it really compliments your curtains. I love to add the perfect girlie/chic chandelier or lighting fixture along the perfect mirrored furniture or Venetian mirror because it adds just the perfect amount of glam.

WOW - I love your office!! I'm inspired to fix my own up! I especially like the box style shelf, seems much more efficient than just open shelving.

What is the name of the fabric you used for your drapes?!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can't wait to see more of it. I'm actually in the middle of working on my own home office, and though it's a work in progress I did post a few pictures today on my blog. I have been endlessly (it seems) searching for a light for the tiny alcove in that room (where my desk will be) and I think that your link might be perfect! Off to do some measuring - new to your blog ... and loving it!
ReplyDeleteYour office is just great! I love the curtains, desk, lucite chair, chandy, bookshelf . . . . I guess I love it all! I'm working on mine now too- I had the desk in the middle of the room, but thinking of putting it in front of the window to see how it looks.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog through Megan @ Honey We're Home (who is coincidentally the commenter right above me!!!) and I'm in love. With your blog and your office. I am in the middle of decorating a craft room/play room for my son and I and your office is serving as some major inspiration!
